Such a pretty mix of cornflowers from pale blush to raspberry shades and almost white with bi-colour flowers on top of tall slender stems. Wafting in the breeze they giving that airy feel to your flower beds and bouquets. Great for many combinations in vases and weddings, very versatile and can last up to 7 days in a vase when harvested half open.

Sow in autumn early summer flowers the following year or indoors about 4/6 weeks before your last frosts. Sow onto moist seed compost. Cover with a fine sprinkling of soil. Propagate at 15-20°C, keep moist. Germination takes 14-21 days. Transplant seedlings once large enough to handle to 9cm pots or 15 cells trays. If autumn sown overwinter under glass and plant out the following spring. Can sow direct into prepared. Thin to 15cm spacing when large enough to handle.

Will need support if growing in rows in beds or interplant within your garden for support from surrounding flowers and plants. These flowers are also loved just as much by our pollinator friends, smothered by them on those warm sunny days.
