Cosmos Cupcake
One of my favourite cosmos with their pleated petals, cups are tinted with the most delicate flush of pale pink. A variety of shades and shapes, some with accordion cups and others with delicate slim petals in the centre. Such a versatile cosmos that will go perfectly with stocks, snapdragons and dahlias. One of the best airy elements to add to any bouquet.
Best sown under cover from March but can be direct sown in May. Grow seedlings on in individual pots or modules when 2/3 sets of leaves have formed. Pinch out tips when plants are around 15cm to encourage bushier plants. When large enough, gradually harden off only after all risk of frost has passed in your area. Stake and tie Cosmos plants if necessary during the growing season, water regularly and dead-head to prolong the flowering season.
Approx 30 seeds
