Sow from late winter onwards, surface sow in 40 or 15 cells trays. They grow quite quickly and never pinch out the tip. When the plants are large enough to prick out, it is here you will find two distinct colours in the seedlings. Light green plants should be kept as these will be doubles, the dark greens are the singles and should be discarded if you do not want these. Always so more than you need.
